Comfort & Luxury Whole Townhouse Remodel
Comfort and luxury abound in this whole house remodel and renovation! What started off as outdated and cramped is now open and light. During the demolition, we discovered termite damage that required new construction. The only part of the project that was not damaged was the flooring on the first floor and guest bathtub.
The redesigned kitchen features more open space and light after removing the side cupboards above the island. The island was also reimagined and extended to create bar-top seating (previously unavailable). As a special feature of this remodel, we updated the stove to a gas range, updated the exhausting hood to run outside in a new soffit.
We reconfigured the use of space in the bathrooms as well. Before the renovation, only one toilet existed and it was located in the master bathroom. During the renovation, the vanity in the guest bath was replaced with a smaller one to make room for a toilet, giving both guests and homeowners more privacy. The master bath also features a newly remodeled shower that includes a seat, shower wand, and diverter valve.
In addition to an updated master bedroom, we transformed an unused alcove. With a window already present, it was easy to enclose this space with a wall. Adding the wall transformed the alcove into additional flex space that can now be used as an office, extra closet, baby’s room, or home gym.
This once outdated townhouse is now refreshed and ready to welcome guests who will enjoy expanded bar top dining at the kitchen island, more spacious bathrooms, and a fresh flex space to make this townhouse more comfortable than ever.
