New Home Build on Existing Site

Building a new home on the site of a smaller existing site requires ingenuity and creativity to maximize square footage.

The solution called for  tearing down the existing home, installing a new engineered foundation and building a new home with high vaulted ceilings. The high vaulted ceilings create openness and a feeling of spaciousness.

Special features included not one, but two islands in the kitchen. One of the islands featured a custom walnut top. We also built a large laundry room with custom drying bar over the appliances to maximize space. The large master bath beckoned for heated floors to keep feet warm during the colder nights of winter.

The custom features continued with a retaining wall on the right side of the home to provide access to a backyard previously not possible. Oh, and we added plenty of skylights throughout this beautiful home to allow fresh natural light and create a tranquil environment.
